In Middleburg, FL, this homeowner was dealing with persistent standing water in the backyard. The lawn was constantly soggy after rainfall, making it difficult to enjoy outdoor spaces and posing a risk for foundation issues, mosquitoes, and lawn damage. As shown in the before image, poor drainage was causing water to collect with nowhere to go.
To resolve this, our team professionally installed a comprehensive yard drainage system. Trenches were carefully dug to lay underground piping, connecting to strategically placed catch basins designed to collect and redirect surface water away from the property. The after photo shows a much cleaner and more functional yard with new drainage grates in place allowing water to move efficiently and prevent future pooling. This solution restores both the health of the lawn and peace of mind for the homeowner.
To stabilize and lift this homeowners sinking foundation, we installed our foundation pier system. The pier system works by transferring the weight of the structure from unstable soil to stable bedrock or load-bearing strata below. Steel piers are driven deep into the ground until they reach stable soil, then the foundation is lifted and stabilized, preventing further sinking or settling.
Our crew permanently stabilized this home's sagging floors with the SmartJack system. These fully-adjustable steel piers were installed in the crawl space to instantly and permanently stop settlement in its tracks and even lift the floors above back to their original position!
When It rained, water pooled around this customers patio. Understandably frustrated, they contacted our office for a permanent solution. Our team assessed the issue and decided the most effective solution was to install a French Drainage System along with a high-quality sump pump to remove water to eliminate it from pooling and diverting it away from the foundation to prevent flooding.
The Sedona is located in the customer's crawl space. The upper duct kit pulls damp air from the upper levels, and running it to the SaniDry unit. As it is cooled and the moisture is removed, the lower duct kit is putting the clean, dry air back into the upper level.
