This Fernandina Beach, FL homeowner was experiencing weakened floor support due to aging and undersized crawl space supports. To permanently stabilize the floor system, our team installed a SmartJack support system along a new supplemental steel beam.
The adjustable galvanized steel SmartJacks were strategically placed beneath the floor framing to help redistribute weight and provide long-term structural support. By reinforcing the crawl space and addressing sagging areas, the home now has a stronger, more stable foundation system designed to protect against future settlement and floor deflection.
This stairway had become a real safety hazard. Overtime the soils below had weakened and settled, causing the concrete stairs to crack and sink downward. Our expert crew was able to lift the sunken area with interior PolyLevel injections and then seal off the repaired concrete with Nexus Pro joint sealant. No one will tripping over these stairs now!
This concrete driveway was cracked in many places and slabs were begining to sink, creating dangerous tripping hazards. Our expert crew repaired and restored this driveway with the modern technology of PolyLevel. This involves drilling tiny pea-sized holes into the slab and filling them with a special lightweight and expansive formula. The poly allows for a controlled and accurate lift without adding any weight to the problem soils below. This driveway is now smooth and level!
The crawl space was damp due to open vents and a dirt floor. Open vents allowed outside air, which often carries moisture, to enter the crawl space. Additionally, the dirt floor contributed to the dampness by allowing moisture from the ground to evaporate and rise into the crawl space, creating a humid environment conducive to mold growth and other moisture-related issues.
