This beautiful waterfront home in Ponte Vedra Beach had an existing crawl space drainage system installed over 30 years ago. While it held up over time, the homeowners were still experiencing occasional water intrusion during periods of heavy rain, especially being so close to the waterway.
Our team assessed the aging system and provided critical updates including a reinforced vapor barrier, sump pump evaluation, and plans for potential French drain installation to better handle future storms. With an upgraded encapsulation and proactive drainage strategy, this crawl space is now better equipped to protect the home from the unique challenges of coastal moisture.
The dehumidifier in this crawl space was no longer controlling humidity levels in the crawl space. This led to moisture issues, musty odors, and wood rot. In its place, we installed our high-performance SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona is the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system (without a bulky heat exchange core). The Sedona helps prevent mold and reduce musty odors, providing a dry, comfortable air source. Even though the Sedona is small in size, it's powerful enough to lower humidity in even the dampest environment.
We eliminated moisture and humidity issues by installing our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, which effectively reduces humidity levels in the air. This powerful system continuously filters and dehumidifies the air, preventing mold growth and improving indoor air quality. Its energy-efficient design ensures consistent performance, maintaining a healthy and comfortable home.
This formerly wet and musty crawl space got a brighter, drier, and healthier environment with our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Paired with our patented SaniDry Sedona, moisture, mold, nor musty odors will be a concern for this crawl space ever again!
The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier were installed to create a healthier crawl space for this Saint Augustine homeowner. The vapor barrier prevents moisture from seeping through the ground, while the dehumidifier controls humidity levels, reducing the risk of mold, mildew, and musty odors. Together, they protect the home’s structural integrity and improve indoor air quality.
