The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier works in tandem with the CleanSpace vapor barrier system to effectively control crawl space moisture and humidity. The CleanSpace vapor barrier acts as a protective layer, preventing moisture from the ground from entering the crawl space. This barrier is installed across the floor and up the walls of the crawl space, creating a sealed environment. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier then removes excess moisture from the air within this sealed space, maintaining optimal humidity levels and preventing mold growth, wood rot, and other moisture-related issues. Together, these systems ensure a dry and healthy crawl space environment.
High humidity in a crawl space causes insulation to fall because the moisture saturates the insulation material, making it heavy and causing it to sag or detach from its position.
Our team transformed a customer's dark and damp crawl space by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier system. This involved thoroughly cleaning and preparing the area, followed by laying down the durable, moisture-proof barrier. The system effectively seals off the crawl space from ground moisture, preventing mold growth and enhancing overall air quality in the home.
We replaced this customers existing vapor barrier line due to multiple puddles of standing water that was causing musty odors throughout the home. Our 20-mil thick CleanSpace Liner was permanently fastened to the floor and walls in the crawl space to prevent moisture from seeping through.
