After repairing and encapsulating the inside of this crawl space, we installed the indestructible EverLast crawl space door. Its airtight and watertight design prevents moisture, humidity, critters, insects, and cold drafts from penetrating past the crawl space entrance.
This Jacksonville, FL crawl space was showing classic signs of foundation distress sagging floors, unsteady support, and aging concrete piers that were no longer delivering reliable stability. In the "before" image, you can see the uneven support system relying heavily on stacked blocks and temporary fixes, leaving the home vulnerable to structural shifts and floor deflection.
Our solution? A custom-installed SmartJack system with a galvanized steel supplemental beam. The "after" photo shows a clean, professional installation designed to lift and permanently stabilize the floors above. This durable support system corrects settling issues and ensures long-term structural integrity, giving the homeowner both safety and confidence in the performance of their home’s foundation.
High moisture levels in the crawl space caused the floor joists to rot. This led to the floor above to before unstable and unsafe. Our solution was to remove the damaged joists and replace with new lumber. The floor was also removed and replaced with a new subfloor.
