This Jacksonville, FL home was experiencing excessive moisture and humidity in the crawl space, leading to musty odors, mold growth, and wood deterioration. The exposed soil and unsealed vents allowed damp air to circulate beneath the home, compromising air quality and structural integrity.
To solve these issues, our team installed a CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, which includes a heavy-duty vapor barrier sealed along the walls and floors to lock out moisture. This durable liner prevents water vapor from entering the space, creating a clean, dry, and energy-efficient environment. The encapsulation not only protects the foundation from long-term damage but also improves overall indoor air quality throughout the home.
This formerly wet and humid crawl space got a brand new look and feel with our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Made from an ultra-durable polyethylene, once CleanSpace is installed it seals the crawl space and provides long-lasting and reliable protection from moisture, humidity, and cold drafts.
After repairing and encapsulating the inside of this crawl space, we installed the indestructible EverLast crawl space door. Its airtight and watertight design prevents moisture, humidity, critters, insects, and cold drafts from penetrating past the crawl space entrance.
Moisture from the dirt crawl space floor was damaging the floor joists above. To seal the space and prevent moisture from leaking through, our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed over the dirt floor.
The Cleanspace Vapor Barrier System prevents ground moisture from seeping up and damaging the floor joists by creating an impermeable layer between the ground and the floor. This barrier blocks moisture, preventing it from rising and causing damage.
