In this Jacksonville home, the crawl space was showing clear signs of moisture problems damp soil, exposed insulation, and unprotected ductwork that were leaving the area vulnerable to mold, wood rot, and poor air quality. To address these issues, we removed debris, sealed the space with a heavy-duty vapor barrier, and installed a sump pump system to actively manage water intrusion. Support jacks were added to reinforce the structure, and insulation was improved for better energy efficiency. The result is a clean, dry, and stable crawl space that protects the home from the ground up.
We permanently stabilized these sinking floors by installing SmartJacks in the crawl space. These fully-adjustable steel piers immediately stopped settlement and even lifted the floors above back to their original position.
This dirty crawl space was littered with debris and its floor joists were failing. We cleaned out the area and permanently stabilized the foundation with SmartJacks.
The floors of this home were sinking because the existing floor joists had shifted. We permanently stabilized this home's foundation by installing SmartJacks with steel supplemental beams throughout the crawl space.
When you have inadequate support in your crawl space, it can lead to several issues, including sagging floors, cracks in walls, and doors that stick or won't close properly. This lack of support can also cause structural damage to the foundation and compromise the overall integrity of the building. This homeowner had damaged support beams in their crawl space, which led to sagging floors and structural instability. We addressed this issue by installing our SmartJack Support System. This system provided additional support to the existing beams, effectively stabilizing the structure and restoring the integrity of the building.
