They then dug a sump pit, installed the SmartSump system, and connected it to a discharge line. The SmartSump pump is designed to remove water that accumulates in the crawl space, preventing moisture buildup and potential water damage. It includes a sump pump, a primary pump, and a battery backup pump to ensure continuous operation even during power outages.
